Within AWS, the ANZ Commercial Sales organisation is responsible for supporting our customers and partners in their journey to the cloud. Our vision is to promote long-term healthy AWS relationships by ensuring AWS Commercial customers and partners have the operational knowledge, best practices, processes, and mechanisms in place to effectively manage operational aspects of their AWS business.
In the role of Customer Enablement Specialist supporting ANZ, you will be part of a growing team providing operational and strategic support to our Commercial customers. Your responsibilities will focus on working with AWS sales teams and providing customers a seamless experience supporting of the following: operational account structure and onboarding, billing, payments and account guidance, cost management, vendor and contractual onboarding, customised report creation for internal and external customers, delivering customer facing education sessions, and document creation and maintenance.
You should be a self-starter, comfortable working directly with customers, possess exceptional organisational skills, capable of creating simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Solve a variety of customer requests including billing and payments escalations, account structure guidance, operational challenges and cost management.
- Manage numerous ad hoc requests concurrently
- Prioritise and resolve customer and internal escalations
- Simplify complex issues, provide customised reporting with the ability to understand and analyse data, and effectively communicate to AWS customers and internal teams
- Develop training and documentation that the organisation and customers can leverage at scale
- Work with a broad set of key stakeholders including AWS Sales, Account Receivables (AR), Customer Service, Tax, Billing, Legal, and AWS customers and partners
- Gather insights from the business, formulating opinions and presenting solutions to AWS leadership
- Knowledge or experience with AWS Services
- Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven record of accomplishment of taking ownership, leading data backed analyses, and influencing results
- Ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organisation
