UGL are seeking a
**Strategy & Pre-Contracts Manager **to lead the preparation of tender submissions and manage the process between opportunity pursuit and contract award. You will also manage the governance process and allocated budgets to execute projects.

**About the role**
- Develop winning strategies for bids and offers, including value propositions and win themes
- Coordinate bid team to ensure tenders are submitted on time, within budget and in compliance with company policy
- Conduct risk assessment activities to evaluate commercial, financial, legislative and resource aspects of tender
- Review subcontractor submissions
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Project Management, Commerce)
- Demonstrated experience in bidding and business development
- Knowledge of mining, oil and gas and utilities industries
- Ability to lead a team whilst prioritising competing demands
- Strong communication skills including negotiation and influencing
