You will have strong experience engaging with Clients, Contractors and Suppliers to provide day-to-day administration of the Company’s operations and to liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Company’s contracting and approval procedures/policies.
Key Accountabilities:
- Managing high value/complex pre-contract and post-contract activities, including but not limited to procurement needs analysis, the implementation of contracting planning; review and development of scope of works; pre and post award document preparation, submission, receipt, evaluation and award recommendation; progress claim and contractual claim assessment, contract variations, extension, termination or close out.
- Interpreting complex contractual requirements and obligations.
- Representing Connect at contractor meetings with clients
- Managing client and contractor performance.
- Some business development duties; identifying potential scopes of work, new clients, new markets and industries
- Providing specialist commercial advice and developing implementing practical strategies to manage complex/high risk contracts.
- Management of contractor insurance and contracts register.
- Assisting in the management of any disputes or contractual legal matters.
- Working with stakeholders to develop planning, actions and accountability.
- Developing problem solving plans with stakeholders and driving solutions initiatives.
- Transparent information flow, presenting to stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications and experience:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Building, Construction, or Business Management
- Strong understanding of principles of contract management and commercial negotiation with practical experience.
- Previous experience or similar role in civils, utilities or construction operations context.
- Practical experience in the use of contractual documentation, including goods supply, services and project type of contracts.
- Advanced risk management.
- Large value and complex contracts exposure.
- Advance contracts claim and dispute resolution experience
- National Police clearance
- Permanent work rights in Australia
**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
