Newly opened in the heart of the CBD, voco, Melbourne Central is a beautifully appointed new venue of 252 rooms. A design lead property, the hotel boasts dramatic archways, gold accents and a warm and contemporary finish. Already establishing itself as a home away from home for our guests, we pride ourselves on our welcoming, bespoke service and a collaborative team culture that is often commented on.
**Your day to day**
The Reservations Agent is often the first point of contact with the hotel guest and as such the ‘face’ of the hotel - the epitome of our brand promises and values. Reporting into the Director of Sales and Marketing you will be accountable for the end-to-end management of all hotel reservations. You will collaborate with the operations teams and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Whilst our focus is always on providing a unique and bespoke experience for our guests, driving sales goes hand in hand. You will be abreast of our hotel targets and up to date with all special offers and promotions
**What we need from you**
You will be a people person - and have an excellent phone manner. Some knowledge of our processes and systems (opera, Delphi, Concerto) would be an excellent advantage to make sure you can tailor the requirements of each guest and ensure that is accurately communicated to relevant departments
You will be accurate and timely, ensuring all reservations are updated, making amendments where necessary. You will assist with arrival checks and ensure that all payments are processed accurately.
