Subiaco, Australia Pro-Active Strata Management Full time

**Strata Manager Assistant**

If you live or work in a facility with multiple owners you may have wondered, who takes care of the rubbish? Who fixes things when they are broken? Who maintains the common areas? Typically, the answer to all these questions is, a Strata Company, which is formed by the building owners and run by a subset of the owners called the Council of Owners.

The Strata Company is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the property including the physical facility and common areas.

Because the owners are not experts in property management (and have full time jobs or run companies) they typically employ a Professional Strata Manager to function as their agent. The Strata Manager helps them comply with regulations, manage building finances, conducting repairs, and performing regular upkeep. Professional Strata Managers protect the value of the property and help to maintain a harmonious environment where people live work and play.

Pro-Active Strata Management is a leading professional Strata Manager in WA. We aim to help make Strata easy - so everyone can enjoy their lives.

What sets us apart from other Strata Managers is our business philosophy. We are authentic, transparent, driven by a strong set of values and believe in collaborating with our clients to achieve the best outcome for both them and us.

We also believe that business should be fun. You should like the people you work with and for. Optimally, everyone on the team is striving for a common goal and having an enjoyable time doing it. We love to have a good laugh together.

We are looking for a Strata Manager Assistant to join our team.

This is a terrific entry level role. As the right-hand person for a group of Strata Managers your role will be to provide the administrative support they need to effectively collaborate with our clients. Additionally, you will fill in for the reception function and manage the front of house when needed.

The position is faced paced and can be a bit stressful at times. But for the right person it is fun and provides a tremendous opportunity to gain experience about property, strata management and business in general. Being a Strata Manager Assistant is a great training ground.

**Target Rich Objectives**

We are a results-based organisation, and your success will be measured not by what you do, but what you achieve.

Once you are fully trained you will be expected to assist the Strata Managers and any other team members, where required, with all administrative support to comply with our Service Guarantee and to help the Strata Managers and strata companies achieve their individual objectives.

You will also provide relief to our reception function when needed.

**Strengths**

To successfully achieve these objectives, you must have these traits.

**Personal Responsibility and Pride**

You are self-motivated and push yourself hard to achieve. You take ownership of your decisions and hold yourself accountable for delivering on your promises. You strive to produce work that is high quality and consistently meets or exceeds standards.

**Action Oriented, Adaptable, Persistent and Resilient**

This is a fast-paced role with constant competing priorities. You will need to act quickly and decisively. Making a mistake is okay but you learn from them and move on.

You can prioritise to serve our client and achieve the fastest and best outcome for everything. This requires you to juggle things to meet changing demands and avoid playing favourites.

Sometimes things will not go to plan, and you will have to chase people for answers or actions. You take this in your stride, continuing to persist and recover quickly from setbacks.

**Adherence to process and detail oriented**

There are a lot of regulations in our business and a lot of moving parts. It is important that you love to follow processes because you will be learning and following a lot of them. It is also important to be highly detail oriented because a small mistake could mean big problems from either a safety or financial standpoint.

**Empathetic**

You will be dealing with a lot of people from diverse backgrounds and, from time to time, the people you deal with may be angry or stressed. You will need to be able to understand and relate to their feelings and help them stay focused to achieve the best solution.

**Growth**

This role is a great training ground, and we are looking for people who are constantly looking for ways to grow and develop.

**Service and Humility**

You truly value serving and supporting others and in this role your contribution may go unnoticed because you support the people who deal with our clients and suppliers. It is important that you are happy to stay in the background, knowing that you helped those who may get the credit to achieve the solution.

**Improver**

You constantly look for new and better ways of doing things.

**Organiser**

This is a fast-paced role so you must be organised. You make a plan, stick
