**Data Modeller / Designer // Government // Hybrid Working**

Talent International is working in partnership with a large government utility agency to assist in sourcing an experienced **Data Modeller / Designer** to join a newly formed Data & Analytics Team. An Enterprise Data Warehouse is currently in operation, the intent is to move to an Azure based Open Data ecosystem. Come and join us on our journey

**In this role you will**:

- Develop and design project data models that meet organizational needs and is aligned to Enterprise information model using conceptual, logical, and physical data models to the team delivering data and analytics related deliverables.
- Work with business to understand the business requirement, convert the business to data requirement and help provision the data from the data source systems for analytics and reporting
- Deliver Data, Data Models, data mapping and Analytics expertise in the articulation, design and development of data and analytics solutions.

In addition to a strong data modelling, business and technical background, the position requires strong problem-solving, analytical abilities and consulting skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of business.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Have prior experience of successfully delivering data modelling and data design deliverables for multiple Analytics projects (full life cycle) in challenging environments.
- Be strong in data engineering and data modelling concepts, with hands on experience in dealing with multiple data sources, providing data modelling and solution options
- Have familiarity with **Erwin** or other modelling tools (required).
- Have had exposure to **Azure** and **Microsoft based data warehouse**:

- Exposure to utility industry (desirable)
- Have a Computer Science or Engineering background / **TOGAF certified** - preferred
