An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and motivated individual to join the Land Policy and Coordination team within the Precinct and Land Branch as Product Owner-Government Land Database at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The Land Policy and Coordination Team will support the Land Coordinator General to create the enabling environment needed to deliver priority government projects that require land and to facilitate a new approach to land policy, regulation, and legislation to support achievement of government's priority infrastructure, housing, and jobs objectives across the state.
The Product Owner-Government Land Database role involves working closely with a range of senior stakeholders in DPC, and other related agencies and presents an opportunity to lead and contribute to the delivery of key policy reform, program activities and projects focused on the efficient and effective delivery of land policy and coordination across government.
This role requires a proactive self-starter with a passion for evidence-based decision making, a good understanding of government processes and an ability to work in a complex, sensitive and fast-paced environment.
**About you**
- Demonstrated experience in product ownership in a large, complex government or similar digital environment.
- Sound conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and capacity to make decisions and recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and ability to establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to service excellence.
