**HEAD OF CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS**
Reporting to the Chief Relationships Officer, the Head of Client Relationships is accountable for the effective leadership, management, and operational delivery of customer relationships with the current and potential borrower and deposit community.

The role will support the Chief Relationship Officer to create a customer centric culture within the organisation, as well as optimising relationships for longevity with borrowers and depositors by understanding their motivations and goals.

The Head of Client Relationships will be accountable for all aspects of lending to the specialised industries of schools, aged care, retirement living, camps and congregations for all Lutheran church bodies, as well as the requirement for monitoring and continuously improving the management of lending related credit risk.

Principle responsibilities:

- Build strong relationships with borrowers to support the realisation of their strategic objectives
- Build and maintain effective business relationships and manage connection with commercial customers
- Participate and manage regular borrowing customer forums to gain feedback
- Participate and manage regular deposit customer forums to understand depositor sentiment
- Develop risk-based pricing capability across relevant sectors
- Review and develop processes for lending that support best practice
- Streamline Credit Committee reporting to support efficient work practices

Key Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting or related profession
- Experience in a senior leadership role within the banking sector, particularly relationship management of commercial clients
- Ideally a strong network and understanding of the Education and/or Healthcare industry
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen
- Experience using technology to drive efficiencies and productivity
