**Our Client**:
A long-standing Client of Peoplebank is seeking a** Service Desk Team Leader** to join their team for an initial 6-month contract.

The **primary focus of this role** is to leader and provides hands-on leadership and support to a team of service desk staff providing including IT Service Desk support and IT Purchasing Support.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Experience leading an IT Service Centre or Service Desk team
- Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Hands-on team leader who will be capable of joining the phone queue and directly assisting customers in times of peak demand

**Desirable**
- Experience with SDP and Jira
- Experience with Service Management toolset administration
- You would be required to work on side for 4 days a week (negotiable)_
