Opportunity to join a dynamic finance team within the public sector

**Your new company**
This agency is responsible for the implementation of major changes with personal disability funding happening across the county. This person centric model will offer individuals with disabilities and their families more choices, more independence, and a better level of control over the services that effect every aspect of their lives. They will be gaining full control over what and how they choose to use this support to complement their life choices and ultimately how they choose to live with their disability.

**Your new role**
Your role as the Finance Officer you will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities. Your role will see you:

- Facilitating transaction processing in the systems to ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
- Extracting and analysing data from SAP and other financial systems to resolve enquiries.
- Preparing accurate and timely management reports as required.
- Providing input into the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the team, including process mapping requirements.
- Working with key stakeholders to support various project initiatives.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in a Finance function, ideally in Government or in a large organisation
- Demonstrated experience measuring and reporting on compliance with approved policies/procedures
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, analyse, and present data
- Proficient use of Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a small team
- Experience in SAP (desirable)

**What you'll get in return**
In return you will be offered a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension. You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative team that is based centrally on the Gold Coast.
