**The client**

My client is a growing Engineering firm with offices located throughout Australia as well as internationally within Europe, Asia, United Emirates and New Zealand.

Due to growth of the business they are searching for an experienced Finance Officer to join their young and friendly team at their Helensvale office.

There is the opportunity to work form home 1 day per week as well as the opportunity to work out of their Brisbane office and travel to work at their other locations both here and overseas is also encouraged.

**The role**:
This role is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Finance Manager by taking ownership of the AR & AP activities for both the Australian offices as well as New Zealand.

and other managers within this organisation, in all financial related matters to assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- End to end AP & AR processing for up to 50 invoices per day, through Xero
- Company Credit Card reconciliation
- Debt Collection
- Processing credit checks for new clients and setting up the supplier agreements and terms with the CRM

**About you**

In order to be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a finance/accounting role managing receivables, payables and general ledger
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and attention to detail in a busy office.
- Ability to plan and organise work schedule and work within timelines
- Ability to provide high-calibre customer service, be reliable and enjoy working in a team.
- Ability to work to a high degree of professional integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to produce quality work with a high degree of accuracy
- Recent and proven experience using the Xero finance package
