
Admin/showroom Assistant

A long standing retail business based in Box Hill needs an enthusiastic full timer for the Front desk/ Reception. In a nutshell, this role is a combination of an administration position along with assisting customers on the telephone and in our showroom.
Main duties are:
Customer telephone enquiries, and attending to customers in the showroom.
Our successful applicant will have good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others in a small friendly team. The successful applicant should also possess a polite, professional telephone manner and have demonstrated good customer service skills /awareness /focus.
Ability to establish rapport with customers, suppliers and staff alike. Excellent attention to detail is important.
Good keyboard skills are required, with knowledge /experience with Microsoft products Word and Excel..
Knowledge of blinds /window furnishings would be an advantage and or ability to quickly familiarize with product range and features.
This is a permanent position of 38hrs per week ( 5 days)
A degree of flexibility can be arranged
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplementary Pay:
- Overtime pay
