About the team

The Direct Business Banking team is part of Business Banking and Agri, servicing business customers in the under $500K lending space. We work with our distribution partners in branches, digital and consumer connection as well as our partners in operations and commercial credit risk to support our existing customers to grow and to attract new customer to BENs Business Banking proposition.

The Manager Direct Business Banking works in a central location, partnering virtually across Business Customer lenders, Consumer lenders, building relationships with customers to provide quality banking services and help grow their businesses.

The role

The Business Direct Consultant assists our customers with their business-related needs, providing product information, helping them to a self-serve option or arranging for a virtual meeting with one of our Business Direct Managers. You will also play a role in campaign activation for Business customers.

**In this role you will**:
Be the voice of our business across all direct to customer phone and digital interactions
Connect customers to educate and discuss product and services, ensuring their interaction with our business is easy and seamless
Assist customer to find lending solutions for their business needs
Be part customer acquisition campaigns to generate leads for new relationships

You

Some of the key capabilities and experience which will set you up for success in this role includes:
Applied working knowledge and exposure to the following specialist disciplines: Debtor, Trade and Equipment finance Operations, Specialised Lending, small business lending
Strong customer service and relationship focus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use and operate multiple systems concurrently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of consumer lending and insurance products and services preferred
