Claims Consultant Recoveries

The Role:

Due to continued growth, we are looking for Recoveries Consultants to join our team in North Lakes.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who can manage a portfolio of recovery claims end to end with tenacity, deliver quality outcomes consistently, and chase down results.

You will need to have a keen eye for detail, the ability to make a logical argument, and be able to think on your feet.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Manage a portfolio of recoveries files
• Collecting information to form liability arguments relating to motor vehicle accidents
• Chasing and negotiating recovery outcomes with other insurers and third parties
• Understanding and applying the relevant legislation including the General Insurance Code of Practice, Australian Debt Recovery Guidelines, Australia Privacy Principles, and other internal business processes

Knowledge and Experience:

• Collections, Motor Claims, or related fields will be highly regarded
• Attention to detail
• Effective time management
• Decision making
• Written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
