The Role:
Due to continued growth, we are looking for Recoveries Consultants to join our team in North Lakes.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who can manage a portfolio of recovery claims end to end with tenacity, deliver quality outcomes consistently, and chase down results.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail, the ability to make a logical argument, and be able to think on your feet.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Manage a portfolio of recoveries files
- Collecting information to form liability arguments relating to motor vehicle accidents
- Chasing and negotiating recovery outcomes with other insurers and third parties
- Understanding and applying the relevant legislation including the General Insurance Code of Practice, Australian Debt Recovery Guidelines, Australia Privacy Principles, and other internal business processes
Knowledge and Experience:
- Collections, Motor Claims, or related fields will be highly regarded
- Attention to detail
- Effective time management
- Decision making
- Written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
