**About the Role**
This position reports directly to the Plant Director at TRITIUM PTY LTD and is based in Brisbane, QLD.

The Production Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the output of their team in the complete E2E manufacture of Tritium’s leading-edge, high-power charging infrastructure. You are part of a rapidly growing team which is globally responsible for Manufacturing, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, Training, H&S & the Environment. The role requires an experienced manufacturing supervisor, who is familiar with orchestrating the day-to-day operations of a lean production line. You’ll be directly responsible for supervising the manufacturing operations on one or more lines, working collaboratively with the production assemblers to deliver the required output, operational efficiency and quality.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

- Supervise one or more of the production lines (end-to-end) in the pursuit of achieving the managerial objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and direct activities of the production assembler’s, to ensure products are manufactured on-schedule, in the right sequence, to the required quality standard.
- Drive the production team to achieve the established targets for Safety, People, Quality (DIFOT, OEE, RFT etc)
- Assist with the hiring and coaching of approximately 12 hourly production team members, conducting team member training / coaching when required.
- Support all Lean / 5S initiatives.
- Support all VSM and line balancing activities.
- Liaise with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other internal departments when ‘line stoppage’ escalation is required.
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce production variances.
- Completes issue and/or incident forms timely, participates in investigations and is a part of the solution for improved quality and/or safety.
- Schedule overtime / weekend work for the manufacturing operations.
- Ensure that all safety practices are in compliance with the relevant policies & rules are being enforced.

**About you**
- Diploma in Engineering, or other related discipline with a Manufacturing or Process Engineering emphasis
- + 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
- + 1 years’ experience working directly with incident / Issue Reporting Systems, with a general knowledge in the corresponding systems / tools / procedures (8D, RedX, 5Y’s etc)
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication, work collaboratively, build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
