**Description**:
Osborne Richardson has been exclusively instructed to source a PM Production Supervisor with experience in food processing for a permanent afternoon shift, 1500-2300. This stable, national and international supplier of quality food products are located approximately one and a half hours west of Brisbane and less than an hour from either Toowoomba or Ipswich. The business has a long history of producing quality value added products for various markets around the country and this role will play a major role in keeping them at the forefront of food industry standards.
This role will have responsibility for quality across allocated production areas and leadership across production lines. Please note that to be eligible for this role, availability for the afternoon shift is essential.
Daily tasks will include:

- Leadership of the Production department and identifying training and skill needs for the team
- Overseeing appropriate safety and quality (HACCP) and behavioural training across the whole team; identifying and correcting any OH&S issues
- Promoting a high-performance team culture with a focus toward Safety, Quality & Customer Service
- Ensuring the product specifications are adhered to at all times
- Communicating job expectations and train employees and ensure that assigned tasks are completed accurately and within a timely manner
- Identifying areas of improvement and communicate innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices to the Plant Manager
- Other duties as required

You will have:

- Experience in a leadership role within food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of quality systems and OH&S
- Proven experience getting results in a fast moving environment
- Great communication, organisational and time management skills
