Werribee / Western Automotive Group is one of the largest and most successful Automotive Groups in the Western Suburbs employing over 300 staff across 13 locations in Hoppers Crossing, Footscray, Essendon, West Melbourne and Caroline Springs area.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team. The primary function of this position requires you to assist with regular weekly payroll functions, administering wages and superannuation payments for approximately 300 staff across the group.

You will be assisting the Payroll Manager with the following functions:

- General Payroll administration functions
- Data entry and maintaining employee payroll records
- Manual and electronic filing
- Liaison with internal staff in relation to payroll matters
- Interpreting Modern Awards
- Regular reporting payroll related matter to management
- Assisting with temporary staff allocations across the Group

To be successful you will require:

- Previous experience in Unipay Payroll beneficial (not essential)
- Strong administration skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise tasks and strong time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, communicating with internal stakeholders and staff
- Strong computer based skills i.e. competent user of MS Suite
- Experience with computer payroll software ideally Pervasive/Unipay or similar
