**Quality Co-ordinator**

**Ventia** is looking to engage the services of** two (2) Quality Co-ordinators** who will drive service excellence on the internationally acclaimed **Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO)** Project.
The **Quality Co-ordinator** is responsible for quality assurance, quality control, and other inspections and documentation on the **SKAO **Project. This exciting role will see you managing sub-contract inspection personnel and monitoring the onsite work quality as well as the quantity of external contractors.

**About the role**
- Overseeing day to day quality across multiple work fronts
- Influence work crews in a challenging construction environment by engaging, motivating, and mentoring
- Implement Quality Management Plans and drive innovative quality initiatives.
- Effectively communicate to employees and numerous stakeholders at Pre-Start Consultations, Toolbox Meetings, hazard, and risk reviews
- Conduct site quality inspections, report findings and ensure the implementation of corrective actions as required.
- Maintain registers
- To ensure that all works performed on site are carried out in accordance with the relevant Ventia, Client standards and statutory requirements
- Assist Planner / Supervisor / Site Engineer / Superintendents in scope review / preparation, control & distribution of work packs / completions dossiers / develop & compile scope specific MDR's
- Ensure appropriate documentation included in the work pack for each job and that all Quality documentation / ITR's are completed to a high standard and required timeframe
- Maintain files of all Completions and Quality related records as required by the contract
- Arrange for pre-determined completions / QA / QC document archiving in appropriate Drive of all quality related documentation to be stored following final completion as required for company procedure for quality records
- Assist with reviews / lessons learnt of completed works
- Identify and provide training / mentoring to other employees to ensure continuous improvement and up skilling with regards to the requirements of quality control & quality assurance
- Identify, initiate, recommend, and assist in the issue resolution process
- Assist in the distribution and submission to work instructions, inspection and test plans, and checklists, including the development of such where required
- Reporting, registering and actioning of all non-conformances
- Perform and report on quality audits both internally and on subcontractor’s systems as required, along with preparing action plans based on opportunities for improvement
- Ensure the care and control of all quality records

**Salary range: $120 000 - $130 000 (TFR)**

**About you**
- 4+ years’ experience as a **_Quality Advisor/Co-ordinator_** in construction projects on remote sites
- Min 2yrs experience in telecommunication, construction and infrastructure is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, communication and report writing skills
- Cert IV WHS qualification, preferred
- Diploma in Quality Management, preferred
- Quality Auditing (Lead or Woking in a team)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, well organised, focused, and productive with the ability to complete projects on time
- Highly customer-service focused and team-oriented
- Proficient at building strong and beneficial internal customer relationships
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid Qualification

**About the project**
The **Square Kilometre Array (SKA)** project is an international effort supported by 16 countries to build the world’s largest radio telescopes, led by the **SKAO**. **Ventia **has been awarded a significant part of the contract and is leveraging our telecommunications capabilities for this exciting project. Our scope includes the provision of pow
