**About the Organisation.**

OPAN is a national network of independent member organisations that give a voice to older people who are eligible or receiving aged care services. The network provides free, confidential, aged care advocacy, information, and education to older Australians, their families, or representatives. We are independent of the government and aged care providers.

**The Role.**

OPAN is looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator with a Graphic Design and Digital background. The position will be broken into four key areas, Graphic Design, Digital Communication, Reporting, and Administration. This role generates awareness for the OPAN name and brand, and the role of aged care advocacy, supporting older Australians receiving aged care, their families, and representatives.

This role will significantly increase engagement with OPAN’s defined audience, and increase OPAN’s reach, influence and impact through selected strategic partnerships, improved infrastructure, and new digital technologies.

**Within this position your duties and responsibilities will be**:

- Support the Marketing, and Communications Lead in the management of OPAN’s website.
- Assist with website content, creation of pages, webinars, and online events.
- Assist with eDM platform management.
- Provide intermediate graphic design support.
- Development and creation of marketing collateral and advertisements.
- Reporting and gathering of data from social media and website analytics.
- Coordinate and assist with meeting notes, reporting, and event logistics.
- Provide backup support and leave coverage for Marketing and Communications team members.
- Promote and support a commitment to continuous quality improvement across all projects.

**Knowledge and Experience.**
- Marketing qualification or appropriate relevant experience
- A good understanding of graphic and digital design
- Intermediate skills with Adobe Suite - Photoshop and Indesign
- High attention to detail and completing tasks within a timely manner.
- A self-starter
- Current National Police Check
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and creative individual
- A passion to work within an independent organisation.
