We are currently looking for a suitably qualified, energetic, caring, and passionate Student Support Officer to join our team.

**About This Role**:
The Student Services Officer provides initiative and proactive guidance to students over a range of areas including information on social, academic and personal issues with the view of assisting students to acclimatise to life and study in Australia.

You will be a multi-tasker, someone who can manage their workload in a fast-paced environment and above all a team player

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff and visitors.
- Provide assistance to individual students with support and welfare issues.
- Assist students to acclimatise themselves to their studies and life in Australia.
- Assist students with information regarding course progress, attendance requirements and accommodation issues.
- Design and implement relevant and meaningful extracurricular activities to enhance and enrich student’s learning experience.
- Ensure all data-entry requirements are accurately and efficiently completed for all student administration.
- Maintain the reception desk to high standards and deal with students, staff and visitors in a friendly, courteous, sensitive and tactful manner.
- Demonstrated and relevant experience in a similar role and setting
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrated customer service skills and experience
- Record management and data entry skills
- Intermediate Excel and Word skills, ability to generate reports
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
- Initiative and ability to undertake analysis tasks pertaining to student matters

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Formal qualification in Counselling and/or related relevant experience
- Working knowledge of the international education sector
- Knowledge of the Department of Home Affairs
- National Code 2018
- Experience in the ELICOS industry will be favourably received
