As the Quality Systems Manager at Olympus Australia and New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in leading and strengthening our Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS and EMS). Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll provide strategic oversight, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Olympus global standards, while driving continuous improvement across the business.

This is a highly visible role where you will influence cross-functional teams, manage audits, mentor a skilled team, and champion a culture of quality and environmental responsibility across the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain, develop, and continuously improve the QMS and EMS in line with international standards and Olympus global requirements
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and relevant regulatory obligations
- Oversee core system functions including:

- Document change, CAPA, NC, Training, and Audit Management
- Supplier and Distributor Quality Management
- Lead the internal and external audit program across OAZ
- Report on key KPIs to local and global stakeholders and maintain quality/environmental dashboards
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory and Olympus requirements
- Build strong relationships with local and global teams, suppliers, and customers
- Lead, mentor and develop members of the Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Environmental (QARAE) team
- Foster a quality and environmentally conscious culture across the business

**What we are looking for**:
You’ll consider yourself to be a strategic thinker, detail-oriented operator, and collaborative leader with:

- Solid experience managing QMS/EMS under ISO 13485, 9001, or 14001
- A background in a scientific or technical discipline
- At least 4 years’ experience in a Quality role and 2+ years in leadership
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in reporting tools and MS Office; experience with SAP, Power BI, and Salesforce is highly regarded
- A proactive mindset and passion for driving continuous improvement
