**Your Impact**
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the **Quality Systems Coordinator** role at **Tullamarine** will be responsible for the custodianship, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated quality systems, including food safety management systems, within our manufacturing operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory and third-party standards while driving initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness, product quality, and total quality management outcomes across the site.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Custodianship and management of Quality & Food Safety based Systems — including FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP, PRPs, and other third-party standards.
- Manage and lead external audit programs, including documentation control and production records management.
- Conduct relevant internal audits, facilitate gap analysis and closure with stakeholders, and drive effective implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Lead and champion the continuous improvement of quality assurance and control processes within manufacturing operations.
- Actively participate in or lead problem-solving activities relating to manufacturing quality issues.
- Facilitate quality systems and improvement workshops to strengthen quality and compliance culture.
- Support the business in driving productivity improvements through quality systems optimisation and process simplification.
- Provide advice on nationally developed procedures and support centralised Quality initiatives.
**About You**
You have extensive hands-on experience in Quality roles within FMCG manufacturing environments, complemented by a solid technical foundation in Quality Systems, Food Safety, and Continuous Improvement practices. Additionally, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in Quality, Production, or Continuous Improvement roles within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Intimate knowledge of GFSI standards (e.g. FSSC, SQF, BRC) and HACCP principles, with a solid understanding of GMP and SOPs.
- Proven experience in change management and operational performance improvement projects.
- A track record of delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives, using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, or TQM.
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, coupled with a proactive, collaborative, and self-managed approach.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is beneficial.
