
Statewide Program Coordinator, Workforce Development

**About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide advanced clinical expertise to the statewide strategic direction and leadership for nursing and interprofessional workforce development within Queensland Forensic Mental Health Services. This role collaborates with the Operations Director to lead strategy development and implementation, focusing on ongoing professional development, education, and training needs for all QFMHS staff, as well as recruitment, orientation, and emerging staffing positions.
About you
Demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills, and expert clinical judgement in relation to forensic mental health.
Participate directly or indirectly in the delivery of clinical care, act as a clinical resource, advisor, mentor, role model, and technical expert, in relation to Forensic Mental Health nursing.
Support the Director of Nursing, MNMH by identifying inconsistencies between practice and policy, and work in collaboration with the interprofessional team to implement changes.
Participate in and manage the performance and development planning of self.
