We have a newly created role for a National Production and Safety Workshop Manager in Linde Material Handling Australia. This role will be responsible for ensuring safe work practices are implemented and followed while working with branch management teams to achieve workshop production targets. There is the opportunity for this role to be based in QLD, NSW or VIC.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**Your Responsibilities**:

- Set up and maintain the national workshop standard to ensure workshop OH&S and EPA statutory obligations are met.
- Provide effective leadership and performance management fostering a culture of safety in line with our care values - Integrity, Collaboration, Courage and Excellence.
- Identify and communicate scheduling conflicts and issues before they are due in regard to backlog / estimated delivery times.
- Drive weekly Production meetings with Workshop Personnel on planning and scheduling in consultation with Branch Management and participate in other branch meetings as required.
- Review local workshop capacity and utilise other workshops if available to smooth out workloads and stresses.
- Measure the efficiency of all workshop activities including pre-deliveries, quoted work and rebuilds.
- Review local / national parts support of workshops and implement improvements.
- Build and strengthen internal/external client and supplier relationships.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong production planning skills, with the ability to utilise project management & other methodologies (eg. Lean) to optimise production outcomes.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships between customers and the business.
- Ability to make sound recommendations to management.
- Strong knowledge of the Linde product and Linde operations.
- Strong analytical skills.
