**JOB TITLE**:Production Operator

**JOB TYPE**:Full Time

**SUPERVISOR/MANAGER**:Production Manager

**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Reporting to the Production Manager, this production all-rounder role is responsible for the accurate execution of the repacking and production procedures established for products in the warehouse.

The main duties will include but not be limited to:

- Picking, decanting, packing, and maintaining control points for products to be repacked.
- Labelling and preparing products to be put away.
- Picking, preparing, following work orders to blend or compound ingredients, and maintaining control points for products to be produced.
- Operating forklift, pallet wrapper, baler, and other production equipment.
- Cleaning of work areas and equipment to comply with food safety requirements.
- Conduct daily start-up and shutdown checks for assigned work areas.
- Ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
- Participating in projects to continuously improve productivity and workplace safety.
- Undertaking other general production duties assigned.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

**Qualifications**:

- Current Forklift (LF) License essential.

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or production essential.
- Counterbalance Forklift experience essential.
- Experience with handling chemical products and hazardous substances beneficial. Training will be provided.
- Knowledge in Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements beneficial. Training will be provided.

**Skills**:

- General warehouse safety awareness.
- Organisational skills and attention to details.
- Administrative skills to process warehouse documentation.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.

**PERFORMANCE GOALS**:

- Process all production tasks efficiently, accurately, and safely.
- Comply with all workplace policies and regulations.

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Morning shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All visitors to site are RAT tested and required to wear a facemask. Staff are provided with RAT kits and facemask when required. All common surfaces sanitised regularly.

**Experience**:

- production: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
