About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to manage the administrative processes related to hiring and booking rooms at the CSDS facility.
The Clinical Skills Development Service (CSDS) is a diverse multi-disciplinary business unit within Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) that acts as a service provider to support the development and standardisation of simulation education and training across the state of Queensland. As the central hub of a network of over 130 Pocket Centres (in situ simulation and dedicated skills centres) situated in all Queensland Health Hospital and Health Services; the CSDS provides access to specialised equipment for clinical education and has an extensive catalogue of courses including face-to-face, blended and eLearning offerings. The CSDS is located on the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) campus, and the facility has conference and simulated clinical rooms that can be hired for a variety of education events and functions.
About you
- Coordinate the booking process for the CSDS facility including initial client enquiry, quotation, catering and booking confirmation.
- Support the organiser of the event with set up, technical and equipment requirements and respond to client needs on the day.
- Coordinate the scheduling of events following CSDS procedures to demonstrate effective and efficient usage of conference and training rooms, and equipment.
- Lead weekly venue hire meetings with other CSDS teams to ensure rooms, equipment, and support meet clients' requests.
- Respond to general enquiries regarding the use of CSDS training and conference rooms within designated timeframes.
