**Walk Free** is an international human rights group working to accelerate the end of all forms of modern slavery. We combine world class research with engagement with political, business, religious and community leaders and direct implementation through our civil society partners to drive systems change and dismantle the drivers of modern slavery.

As a Research and Policy Officer your key responsibilities will include
- Undertaking research and analysis on key issues and policies relevant to modern slavery in Americas.
- Preparing background documents, briefings, talking points, speeches on key issues and new policy developments on modern slavery issues.
- Drafting content for social media accounts.
- Supporting Walk Free advocacy efforts at regional and international fora.
- Supporting other research activities, including data collection, as needed.
- Administrative support, including managing Walk Free inbox and external inquiries.

**Qualifications**:

- BA Hons in international development, international relations, law, public policy, politics, or related humanities or social science field.

- Work experience either in research, or advocacy.
- Experience working in international and cross-cultural contexts
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
