**Location**: Based in our beautiful new office in Parramatta
**Work Type**: Permanent Full-time (hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 WFH days)
Afford is seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to drive growth with kindness, clarity, teamwork, and a spirit of exploration.
**What you will do**
In this newly created role, you will support the execution of the organisational Growth Strategy, driving sustainable growth that aligns with our Strategic Plan.
- **Growth Strategy**:Contribute to competitive advantage and sustainability by executing Afford’s Growth Strategy.
- **Community Engagement**:Engage in community activities to build partnerships and improve client outcomes.
- **Partnership Positioning**:Collaborate to establish Afford as a trusted service delivery partner for individuals with disabilities and their families.
- **Stakeholder Relationships**: Build strong internal and external relationships to leverage market opportunities.
- **Grant Support**: Assist in solution design and financial modelling for grants and tenders.
- **Market Analysis**:Conduct research to inform business development aligned with consumer needs.
- **Reconciliation Action Plan**:Support partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations.
**What you will bring**
To excel in this role, you will bring a passion for innovative and impactful service, along with experience in business development and partnership building, strong communication skills, the ability to analyse market trends, a collaborative mindset. We are looking for someone with:
- A strong understanding of the disability sector, including NDIS products, services and organisations.
- A strong track record in delivering business development and sales strategies that align with organisational goals.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to clear, accessible communications.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive industry experience.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management and working in a consumer-focused environment.
- Up to date COVID vaccination certificate or medical exemption
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s license
