We’re on the hunt for dynamic Customer Sales and Retention Specialists internally referred to as Growth Specialists, to join our team and champion our mission of helping Australians find and keep the perfect health cover. Are you excited about transforming people’s health experiences?

In this role, you'll be the guiding star in our success, handling both inbound and outbound interactions with members. Whether you’re responding to their needs or proactively reaching out, you’ll connect with our members, understand their needs, and offer personalised support to keep them sticky with ahm. Your superpower? Making their journey smooth while showcasing the true value of their product and the ahm brand, so they stay loyal and confident in their choice.

- Comfortable spending a significant portion of your day on the phone, assisting members.
- You’re a friendly human with an innate ability to connect with customers and understand their needs.
- Can build quick connections and convey empathy in both verbal and written communication.
- Able to bring a role that’s predominantly phone-based to life with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- As a fast learner, you are quick to pick up and efficiently navigate new systems
- Having experience and drive when working towards KPIs and targets is a plus.
- You enjoy being part of a high-performing team but aren’t afraid to go at it alone.
- A knack for identifying potential issues before they become problems and bust some red tape.

The technical stuff: You will have a reliable and fast broadband service (NBN or ADSL) & be confident in using various IT software. All necessary equipment for the role will be provided by ahm.

Working from home offers incredible advantages, like flexibility and convenience, yet it demands the same level of professionalism as any office environment. Your workspace should be a sanctuary of focus, quiet, and ergonomic comfort. While we empower you with resources and support for your remote role, structure is key. Your workday begins and ends as per your rostered times, and you’ll have scheduled breaks.

**Please note the start date for this role will be Monday 4th November and we will be holding interviews from the 30th Sept to 3rd October. The training is mandatory and full attendance is required from 4th November.**
