About the Department and role

The Comprehensive Credit Reporting (CCR) function is part of the Credit Risk Management division.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the CCR data supply reporting and response file processing. You will be required to review the data to identify and interpret any patterns or useful trends, to transform data into information that can be utilised to assist business insights, decisions and actions, and also to work with the CCR business as usual team and other stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities. This role is also responsible for providing support to the Senior CCR Manager and CCR Manager, as required.

The Comprehensive Credit Reporting Analyst role reports to Senior Comprehensive Credit Reporting Manager. You’ll have the opportunity to work with key stakeholders across the Division and organisation.

Experience, Capabilities & Qualifications

Proven experience (desirable but not mandatory) in effectively deploying CCR or working in a credit reporting related function.
Relevant experience in financial services industry or with a credit reporting bureau.
Experience in the overall regulatory and lending environment that banks operate within.
Ability to build internal and external relationships and establish self as a trusted adviser.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Sound negotiation, collaboration, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Display initiative and drive to learn and continually improve self and the team.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and unsupervised but also work closely as a team.
Equivalent professional, or relevant tertiary education would be advantageous.
