Who are we?

ORDE is a rapidly growing non-bank residential and commercial mortgage lending business committed to elevating Australian specialist lending standards. We provide comprehensive product solutions and deliver leading service levels, leveraging digital capabilities and deep industry experience.

We are passionate (and a bit obsessed…) about being disruptive and pushing hard to improve the experience and results for mortgage brokers. Our purpose "Built for Brokers" is clear and simple and defines our entire strategy (delivering better experiences, more value and opportunity, anticipating more needs and communicating more solutions, for brokers and their customers).

What are we looking for?

At ORDE, we are looking for a dynamic Credit Analyst or Senior Credit Analyst who shares our high-performance mindset. The key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Managing the end-to-end credit approval process for loan applications.
  • Ensuring all applications align with applicable credit criteria, lending policies, and the ORDE credit culture.
  • Utilising your credit expertise to evaluate scenarios and proposals, tailoring solutions to individual circumstances.
  • Progressively building your individual credit approval level.
  • Collaborating closely and constructively with BDMs and brokers to find solutions while managing risk and delivering superior customer service.
  • Communicating outcomes and decision-making rationale internally and externally.
  • Working closely with the Settlements Team to ensure efficient, responsive, and proficient settlements.
  • Conducting activities that reflect a commitment to quality and our risk culture and maintaining a can-do focus.
  • Collaborating with your team to identify system, process, and product improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

Why would you choose us?

  • We are a fast-growing successful company.
  • We think it's exciting to be part of a team which is building something that will make a difference.
  • We are focused, disruptive, think outside of the box and will encourage you to try new things.
  • We really care about our people and want them to have the best experience in their career.
  • We guarantee fun, challenge, learning and growth
  • We embrace being challenged through diversity of thoughts.
  • We have a highly collaborative culture which provides an inclusive, enjoyable office experience for all staff.
  • We are Melbourne based and believe being in the office all together is important, and we think working from home is too: three days in the office (Mon-Tues-Thurs), two days at home.
  • We remunerate well and reward high performance.

Why would we choose you?

  • You have a minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a similar credit analyst role, with a strong background in broker service. Non-bank experience is preferred.
  • You have a relevant financial industry tertiary qualification.
  • You preferably have held a DLA (Delegated Lending Authority).
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of relevant financial industry legislation and regulations (NCCP, AML/CTF, Privacy Act).
  • You have a strong understanding of credit assessment and analysis frameworks.
  • You have a proven track record in solving complex and/or technical issues.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and senior stakeholders.
  • You have experience in meeting rigorous SLAs and settlement deadlines.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You can thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You have strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • You have an alignment with ORDE's high-performance culture and a commitment to making a positive impact on our operations, people, and culture.
  • You can contribute to credit policy development, credit quality outcomes, process improvement, project work, and completion of other assigned tasks.
