As we continue through an exciting period of growth, and due to the Company’s involvement in a number of new projects and studies, we are currently recruiting for a** Procurement Officer **to join our Perth based team.

Reporting to the **Principal Procurement Officer**, the Procurement Officer will provide support in the areas of procurement, purchasing, expediting, cost control, and transport and logistics for your allocated project(s). If you are driven, looking to get your foot in the door or further your experience and make your mark in a growing organisation - this is the role for you. We're a flexible workplace, and open to considering working days/hours to fit with your needs (full or part-time hours on offer).

**The tasks you'll perform**
- Plan, coordinate, monitor and report progress of all activities required for timely issue of enquiries, tender evaluation and award of purchase orders.
- Work in conjunction with a range of internal and external stakeholders to secure optimum prices and deliveries for equipment to meet project technical, schedule and commercial requirements.
- Carry out commercial analysis and evaluation of quotations to enable the correct supplier choice to be made.
- Develop and maintain an effective vendor data (including manuals) and goods tracking system both on a company-wide and on a project-specific basis.
- Review of all orders to ensure details are in accordance with the original tender request and client-approved ATC.
- Assist with the sourcing of general items as required for the office and site operations.
- Liaise with and provide professional support to the Project team in the preparation of project deliverables.

**The expertise you'll bring**
- A recent graduate _or_ circa 2 years' experience in the procurement, expediting, and/or logistics disciplines, ideally within the engineering or construction industries.
- Qualifications in a Procurement discipline are preferred, but not essential.
- High-level negotiating and problem solving skills.
- Driven and determined to achieve objectives through continued professional development.
- Strong computer skills with well-developed knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and ability to navigate various computerised systems.
- High attention to detail, the ability to work with mínimal supervision and demonstrated experience in following issues through from identification to resolution.
- Well developed communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with numerous stakeholders across all business units.
- A self-starter who can readily adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work within a team and willingness to assist the team as required.
