As part of our accelerated grow, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team.

**A Day in the Life...**

The Electronics Technician works closely with the Hardware and Software Engineering teams to provide support in the set up, assembly, maintenance and repair and troubleshooting of electronic systems and devices. You’ll test system performance, analyze and report on results.

This role requires hands-on experience using various hand and power tools to calibrate and align system components and circuitry. To succeed in this position, you should also be able to comprehend and follow complex technical diagrams, use a wide range of resources to solve problems and feel comfortable working alone and in a team.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Ability to read electronic and wiring diagrams
- Build prototype models based on technical guidelines
- Failure analysis in electronic systems and devices as well as troubleshooting
- Ability to build and test electronics PCB prototypes using SMT components
- Expert level hand soldering skills on fine pitch SMT components
- Wire stripping, crimping, and general harness manufacturing experience
- Collaborate with Engineers
- Follow strict OH&S and quality management procedures

**Ideally, you have...**
- Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, multi-meters and other test equipment
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry
- Good problem-solving skills, an eye for detail and good manual dexterity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to maintain a clean and well organised work environment
- Willing to learn and collaborate with others in the team

**Qualifications and Experience**

- A degree or certificate IV in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience as an electronics technician or similar role
- Licensed to work on mains electrical installations
