**The opportunity
Due to increasing business demands and various projects, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join us on an initial 6 month fixed term full time basis. You can be based in any major Australian cities with flexible work from home option.

You will assist the Manager - Employee Experience Payroll Operations on various payroll projects and initiatives, including but not limited to payroll remediation, implementation, parallel processing and many more.

To be successful in this role, you must be Excel-savvy, have experience working on various payroll projects, be flexible and adaptive to ongoing changes in business demands and requirements, have strong analytical skills as well as experience interpreting different awards and enterprise agreements.

**How will I help?**

Key accountabilities including but not limited to:

- Monitor super contributions, PAYG, and other deductions via the payroll system
- Manage the interrogation of process flow to troubleshoot potential issues
- Ensure integrity of systems integration of payroll legislation and updates.
- Maintain process documentation, and monitor governance through effective process & controls

- Analyse configuration set up to ensure optimal structures are in place
- Drive process change across challenging & diverse stakeholders across cross-functional teams
- Maintenance of data integrity and security

**What do I need?**
- Strong experience with Chris 21 (mandatory), Preceda and Kronos (preferable)
- Experience with Time & Attendance systems
- Experience in interpreting multiple awards / enterprise agreements
- At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar payroll analyst / SME type role
- Experience working in project environment
- Superior Excel skills
- High-level attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and present findings in a clear and concise way.
