**As one of Australia's largest profit-for-members superannuation funds, we always remember whose money it is and whose future we're looking after. We work to reimagine a new way forward for our 1.1 million members and their communities. Each other. And our world.
**Your New Role**
As the Solution Architecture Practice Lead, you’ll head a high-performing team of architects embedded across value streams. You’ll drive architectural excellence, ensure alignment with enterprise standards, and directly contribute to the design of innovative, scalable solutions that support Aware Super’s strategic goals.

In this role, you will:

- Guide and mentor a team of architects, ensuring quality, consistency, and engagement
- Oversee architecture governance, including the Architecture Review Board and EA alignment
- Deliver solution architecture for key initiatives, ensuring reuse, scalability, and business value
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and external vendors to shape and implement technology strategy
- Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps and drive innovation through new patterns and technologies
- _**How do you exceed our expectations?**
You are a visionary architecture leader ready to shape the future of digital transformation at one of Australia’s largest profit-for-member super funds.
You will have:
- 10+ years’ experience in IT, with leadership roles in architecture (financial services preferred)
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related field; TOGAF certification desirable
- Deep knowledge of architecture frameworks, agile delivery, and modern tech stacks (e.g., microservices, APIs, Azure, data pipelines, digital security)
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver strategic outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
**Employee Experience**
**We understand that not everyone works in the same ways. We value flexibility and know that it helps you manage work and life.
Why you’ll love working at Aware Super:
- Have a super impact: You’ll think big and care deeply to help more Australians live their best lives in retirement.
- Be part of something super unique: You’ll work to reshape super and retirement. We’ll invest in your growth and give you the opportunity to work on career-defining projects.
