Cloud Solutions Architect Role

Join a dynamic team and apply for the Cloud Solutions Architect position. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies, managed services, and solution design for enterprise environments.

  • Design end-to-end cloud architectures that meet business, technical, and security requirements.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution.
  • Develop solution designs covering compute, storage, networking, security, and integration.
  • Provide architectural guidance for cloud managed services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, IAM, etc.).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure solutions comply with governance, security, and performance best practices.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including solution proposals and cost estimation.
  • Work closely with DevOps, development, and operations teams during delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and optimize cloud infrastructure for improved scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect in cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, architecture frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud migration projects.
  • Proficiency in cloud managed services and solution integration.
  • Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and cost optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent.
  • Experience in government or regulated industries.
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud strategies.
