**Your opportunity**

The role of the Architecture Lead for Cloud and Infrastructure is crucial in providing architectural services throughout the entire technology strategy planning cycle. This position is responsible for leading the development and upkeep of future and target state architectures, roadmaps, capability maps, and architecture principles and standards for our Cloud platforms, Network and Connectivity, Data Centre, Edge platform, and shopping centre technology services. In addition, this role involves facilitating the modernisation and optimisation of our environments, while ensuring the implementation of appropriate levels of cyber security controls.

**You will have overall accountability to**:

- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects on Cloud adoption, migration strategy, blueprints, and roadmaps.
- Create and convey technology domain architectures for various organizational levels.Assess current state, risks, and develop target state architectures aligned with strategy.
- Establish and maintain Cloud and Infrastructure domain principles, practices, and patterns.
- Establish and maintain Application Portfolio register in collaboration with risk, privacy audit, cyber and assurance teams.
- Govern through Architecture Forums, using documented principles, standards, roadmaps, and blueprints.
- Monitor architectural health, debt, and seek improvement opportunities.
- Ensure cohesive architectural approach across domains.
- Conduct technology sessions to align stakeholders with strategy.
- Support target operating model development.
- Observe tech trends, reduce complexities in architecture.
- Research new technology, recommend vendors and software products to build out the future state architecture.
- Lead business initiative Proof-of-Value (PoVs) and Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs).
- Pursue personal development and continuous learning.

- Proficient in strategic planning, roadmap development, business collaboration, conducting technical workshops, and guiding technology decision-making.
- Proven ability to identify architectural trade-offs and effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
- Solid grasp of Unified Endpoint Management, network security, and contemporary software development practices, including CI/CD and DevSecOps.
- Foundational knowledge of Service Management principles, methodologies, solutions, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies.
