Overview:
As the General Store Manager, this fulltime position has the overall responsibility for the customer experience and operational management of the one of our key doors in Melbourne and also provide strategic support to their District Manager (DM) in areas including Staffing, Customer Service, Sales Performance and Expense Management. The role also requires significant interaction with the Manager Trainers in their League in areas including Training, Compliance, Communications and Report Production.

In order to perform your role effectively and efficiently, you will be required to have significant interaction with your District Manager on a day-to-day basis on matters including Employee Relations, Logistics, Product Management, and Marketing Promotions.

**Responsibilities**:

- A deep understanding and experience leading/coaching teams in a strong customer experience culture to success.
- Executing standards in recruiting, hiring, training, guest services, visual merchandising, and store operations
- Execute plans to drive key performance indicators to maximize profitability
- Enhance brand loyalty by empowering team to create a natural and personable experience for customers
- Act as a partner between customers, sales associates, store leadership and corporate business partners
- Maintains a high level of customer focus and leads by example with clear and engaging communication
- Ensures visual directives and standards are maintained

Qualifications:

- Experience Managing large and complex teams +40 team members.
- Extensive knowledge of Store operations and a strong attention to detail from at least 5 years of experience including staffing, rostering, visual marketing, audit procedures, security protocols & IT systems.
- Ability to create, embrace and enhance a strong DIB’s (Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging) culture.
- Excellent people skills in order to interact with customers and other team members.
- Ability to empower Foot Locker associates with exceptional selling techniques and customer service, through effective training and development.
- Follow and effectively convey to all sales associates, the Foot Locker policies and
standards including Health and Safety.
- Ability to follow and execute directions from your District Manager in a timely and
positive manner.
- A track record of consistently achieving above budget sales and profit results from your experience as Store Manager.
