**Where you'll be working**:
Join our Specialised Intellectual Disability Health Team, based in Wallsend, NSW. You’ll be working onsite in a small, dynamic team of five clinicians, playing a key role in providing person-centred healthcare for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our service is unique, requiring a highly flexible approach with no set processes, allowing for continuous adjustments based on individual client needs.

**About the role**:
As the sole administrative officer, you will:

- Work independently to provide essential administrative support to the team.
- Manage phone enquiries, ensuring reasonable adjustments for people with intellectual disabilities.
- Take ownership of daily tasks, problem-solve proactively, and introduce innovative solutions.
- Engage directly with clinicians and clients in an open office environment. Adapt to a highly flexible, person-centred service, where no two days are the same.

**Work Schedule**:

- Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory workdays (team anchor days). Remaining workdays are flexible, with Monday as a preferred option.

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable individual who thrives in a flexible, unstructured work environment. You’ll be an integral part of the team, contributing to seamless service delivery through your strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and phone skills, including experience handling enquiries and making adjustments for people with intellectual disabilities.
- A proactive mindset - you’ll have the autonomy to design your own daily workflows.
- Adaptability - our person-centred approach requires constant adjustments to processes.
- Confidence in learning new systems (CHIME & Platypus) - prior experience is not essential.
