Environmental engineering consultancy firm is seeking a Senior Desktop Services Technician to join their team.
**Your new company**
Hays have proudly partnered with a thriving consulting and engineering firm who specialise in delivering outstanding environmental solutions to their diverse array of clients. Having found wicked success globally, they've set their sights on Brisbane and are seeking to appoint a Senior Desktop Services Technician to a permanent role in their brand-new office.

**Your new role**
As the only IT expert in their Australian operation (currently), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and infrastructure. From leading local projects and recommending new technologies, to providing that outstanding level of customer service expected from a senior tech, some of your day-to-day duties will include:

- Administration of complex desktop related technologies, both on-premise and cloud-based
- Planning and implementing routine system upgrades and refreshes, working closely and collaboratively with the US team
- Broad network administration and leadership duties

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will possess a wealth of experience in Desktop Support, and be on the hunt for a position that will really allow you to flex your strong sense of initiative alongside your collaboration skills. Your key competencies will include:

- Demonstrated working experience in Active Directory, Azure AD, M365 (including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams), DNS, DHCP, and general network topology
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, as are industry certifications
- A keen eye for detail, and a passion for technology that will drive the business forward

**What you'll get in return**
Being 'first on ground' for this firm will unlock unlimited opportunities for internal growth and development. You will initially work from home full-time until the end of December/early January when the office officially opens, then be offered up to 3 days a week working from home should you need it. Your annual remuneration will fall anywhere between
**$85,000 - $95,000 + superannuation**, and will be decided based on qualifications and merit.
