**The Service**

KU Petersham Preschool, one of our E _xceeding _rated services provides high quality education and care for children aged 3-5 years.

Nestled next to the greenery of Petersham Park, KU Petersham Preschool is a 30 place service with street parking available and operates Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm all year round.

**The Role**

We are looking for an experienced director with a **completed teaching degree **to lead the small and close-knit team.

This is a permanent full time position **working Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4pm **. The role will be a teaching position and you will have 2 days a week (Monday & Tuesday) designated to administrative responsibilities.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- A current NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- A recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree level of qualification in Early Childhood or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Teacher Accreditation through NESA
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- A current First Aid certificate as approved by ACECQA along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer literacy skills as you would be required to work with financial systems
- A minimum of 2 years previous directing experience
