The Chief Financial Officer's Group (CFO Group) is responsible for the delivery of fiscal management services across the organisation. Key responsibilities of the group include taxation, commercial finance, corporate accounting, capital planning, valuations, investment management, risk management and treasury. We are also accountable for the organisation’s strategic property portfolio. The Finance Division is responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability of DHA, by supporting effective decision making, resource allocation and policy compliance for both internal and external stakeholders.
**Your contribution**:
In this role you will manage the delivery of shared business services for DHA. This will comprise the delivery of the transactional, Tier 1 and 2 support functions associated with accounts payable, travel bookings, vehicle administration and other administration in an efficient, effective, customer focused and professional manner. The position is accountable for developing a customer focussed culture committed to continuous business improvement, productive partnerships, implementation of a quality management framework and achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
You will have the following skills to be successful in this role:
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team of staff in a service environment.
- Demonstrated experience in setting up standard operating procedures and ensuring adoption by your team and the organisation more broadly.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and papers to support business decision making.
- Sound negotiation and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and to lead a team to deliver high quality work within agreed deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and delivering continuous improvements.
