Osborne Richardson are delighted to be assisting this key QLD State Government agency with this new role.
We are seeking a Principal Project Officer to join the growing team on an initial 12 month contract with huge potential to turn into an ongoing to permanent role. This opportunity will have a focus on the review of the Land Valuation Act 2010 and you will find yourself sitting on an A07 level, so a high-level opportunity awaits.
In your new role, which will be located in the Brisbane CBD and offer very flexible working arrangements, you will find yourself in a forward thinking, hardworking and fun-loving team. Your day-to-day duties will look a little like this:
- Provide high level advice to the Executive Leadership Team on issues relating to project outputs and milestones.
- Respond and solve emerging issues that arise with the potential to impact project milestones.
- Provide logistics, organisational and client interface support for teams involved in state-wide delivery to facilitate travel, access and contact points.
- Research and analyse critical issues, determining implications from a departmental perspective, making recommendations and facilitating the appropriate response.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks and maximise opportunity realisation.
- Support the development of specifications to engage consultants and contractors in line with departmental procurement processes.
- Prepare and/or organise the preparation of complex reports, submissions, briefing notes, presentations, speeches, publications and correspondence
1. Project management qualifications are not essential
2. Project management experience managing projects with a focus on organisational change and internal delivery by a large workforce are highly desirable.
3. Clear and concise communication, especially in large organisational settings
