**About the role**
This position is responsible for assisting the delivery of Council’s Australia Citizenship Program and Commemorative Services program.
On a daily basis you will.
- Support the delivery of the Civic Program, including project plans, stakeholder management, data management, invitations
- Support the management of suppliers, contractors and engagement of services including artists and performers
- Conduct quotations for the provision of services, in line with Council's procurement practices including processing invoices and financial management
- Support the delivery of Council's City Events and Festivals Strategy
**About You**
- Qualifications (Level) Tertiary qualifications in Event Management and/or a willingness to undertake an accredited course
- Class C motor vehicle driver’s licence.
- High level of interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications
- Strong ability to prioritise competing deadlines
**What’s on offer**
This position is a 12 month role.
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $74,228 to $81,746 plus 10.5% superannuation.
In addition City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits.
