Seeking experienced nurse/personal assistant for a Surgical /GP clinic that prides itself in providing quality care.

We have 4 locations in Melbourne. Hoppers Crossing, Dandenong, Coolaroo and South Melbourne. You will be based at Hoppers Crossing but may travel to other locations. You will be remunerated for your travels to locations other than Hoppers Crossing. In addition to this, you have the option of working from home if not required to be on site.

Essential criteria
- Work experience within medical practice and field essential
- Passionate about patient care
- Ability to work in a team with excellent written and verbal English skills with ability to communicate well with providers, hospitals/clinics and patients.
- Excellent efficiency, organisation, prioritisation and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and professional presentation
- Ability to work independently
- Adaptable, flexible, responsive and available when demand is high.
- Dedication to work, be proactive and have initiative with brilliant work ethic.
- IT expertise essential, including Microsoft office suite
- Eligible to work in Australia (permanent resident or citizen).
- Own transport

Preferable criteria
- Database management
- Experience with Power Diary software
- Motivated and innovative
- Medical receptionist experience
- Theatre experience
- Facebook & Instagram website for marketing, management skills
- Qualifications in Administration and/or equivalent experience in a similar medical receptionist/administration role with at least 2 years’ experience (Favoured)
- Knowledge of Medical Benefit Scheme (MBS) Guidelines

Tasks include, but not limited to:

- General administrative duties, scanning/faxing/answering phone calls/ processing payments/ Liaise with bookkeeper and accountant
- Able to mentor and teach staff as needed.
- Answer phone calls
- Care plans & Health assessments
- Stocking & ordering medical supplies

Hours 9 am
- 5 pm Monday - Friday
