mecwacare is looking for experienced and dedicated Endorsed enrolled nurse (EEN's) to join the friendly team at mecwacare's John Atchison Centre facility in Hoppers Crossing.The home features beautifully designed one or two-room suites, each with a private ensuite and many with garden or balcony access. With amenities such as a cinema, library, h private dining areas, residents enjoy both relaxation and social connection in a warm, community-focused environment.

As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) you will deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based resident-centered care following specific clinical policies and approved protocols. You will be working under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse.

What you bring:

  • Advanced clinical skills and a commitment to high quality care and services.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
  • Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with medication endorsement.
  • Thorough knowledge of Accreditation Standards, Aged Care funding and Aged Care legislation.
  • Commitment to the philosophy of a person-centered approach to providing care and services.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to guide, motivate staff and promote a positive work environment.
  • Well-developed computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
  • Availability for AM PM shift.
