Seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join a global organisation within the Health and Pharmaceutical Sector. As the Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of material acquisition, import/export management, warehouse activities, distribution/shipping of products and equipment, and customer service.

Prior experience and understanding of logistics within the Health and Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences would be highly sought after.

Duties within the role will include but not limited to:

- Manage processing of international orders, including completion of all documentation, preparation of commercial invoices, shippers export declarations, bills of lading, Incoterms, freight classification, transportation types and country-specific requirements.
- Deliver high level of customer service by inputting and ensuring correct processing of customer orders, returns, and repairs submitted via various input methods.
- Prepares and places orders with vendors and local suppliers.
- Manages inventory levels.
- Works with international freight forwarders and carriers to plan international shipment logistics.
- Processes invoices and orders and shipping documentation
- Oversees packing and shipping of products.
- Coordinates receiving and storage of products and equipment in the Warehouse.
- Coordinates all requisitions for all shipping and receiving materials.
- Communicates frequently with Sales Managers to ensure product and equipment needs are met.
- Participates in process improvement efforts to build capacity, improve service, and improve quality on an as needed basis.
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
- Handles various other duties as delegated by Manager.

About you:

- Minimum of two years of Distribution Centre experience required that includes the following:

- Import / Export partner management with expertise in Australia, New Zealand, USA, and Europe
- Warehouse organisation and inventory management
- Demand planning and purchasing as required.
- Experienced Customer Service professional.
- Experience with MS Navision and MS CRM required
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client management.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment.
- Ability to handle high call volume enquiries.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to lift/carry 10kg
- Must have a willingness to support other departments in times of peak demand.
