**About The Role**

It will be based at our new purpose designed Community Hub in Atherrton Rd Oaklieigh under the direction of the Manager Adult Community Mental Health. The Clayton the Group Program Co-ordinator will support the ongoing development and delivery of groups programs in the following domains and work with a team that will include; Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Alcohol and Other Drug Clinicians, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians, Peer Support workers and Registered Psychiatric Nurses.
- Psychological Interventions
- Physical health interventions
- Peer support work (Carer peer support and consumer peer support)
- Psychosocial interventions
- Alcohol and Other Drug interventions

The position will also be responsible for coordinating group program activities and actively participating in the delivery of the program.

The position also provides high level clinical expertise in relation to group interventions for consumers presenting with multiple complex problems including serious mental illness, co-morbid high prevalence disorders, associated social relationship issues, everyday living skill needs and dual diagnosis. They will support other clinicians in the delivery of high quality mental health care.

**What You Need to Know**

The position involves Monday - Friday daytime roster. Clayton Community Mental Health Service is located close to the CBD and the South East sector. It is an autonomous role with the balance of working in a team environment. Access to high quality clinical supervision is offered.

- Qualifications and relevant registrations in Nursing, OT ,Social Work or Psyhology
- Capacity to work independently and within a team
- A friendly and professional attitude.
- Excellent engagement, relationship and therapeutic skills
- Resilience and strong work ethics
