Post-enumeration Survey Team
- Work available nationwide
- Temporary assignment with flexible hours 30 hours across 7 days
- Great pay rates plus mileage
**Roles available in Rangiora, Christchurch City and Timaru**
**M te mahi| The work**
Enumeration is a process where we physically check we have an accurate list of all addresses in an area, going to each address to confirm we have it listed correctly as well as adding any new buildings, removing demolished buildings, and noting down any that are not private residences.
You may need to use your investigation skills to locate homes hidden away or part of business premises, and in some cases talk to people at the address to confirm changes. Like any good detective you will be required to put in the leg work. If you would like to be paid for exercising, this could be the job for you.
If you live rurally, driving will be more your thing, so bring your sense of adventure and take the scenic route, there will be plenty of driving around the beautiful countryside.
**M te tnga | The role**
As a part of the Post-enumeration Survey Team you will be going out into the community, visually checking addresses to make sure that they are on our list. You will need to be tech savvy and accurately record information as this will be vital to ensuring the success of the interviewing team and survey results.
This is a flexible assignment working on average 30 hour per week. Hours will vary and may include weekend work when required, but no field work after dark. You will also be able to manage your own workload and will be given all the necessary training and equipment.
The data helps the government plan funding for hospitals, roads, public transport, schools, and housing in Aotearoa. Helping your community to understand this link is crucial and a key part of the role you will hold within the operation.
**M te mu | About you**
