Be part of an operational and strategic team that plans, develops, facilitates, and evaluates health workforce strategies including the NSW Health Deployment Program. Providing nurses, midwives, and allied health staff opportunities to travel and work at hospitals and health services that have a short-term need for their skills and experience. **About the role**

This role involves leading the planning activities required for the delivery of sustainable workforce to meet service demands. This includes leading The NSW Health Deployment Program by delivering an expanding viable business with a strategic blend of innovation, market insight, and operational efficiency to meet evolving customer needs and ensure sustainable growth.
Health Manager level 5, starting salary from $166,678 - $186,448 plus super, with a 38-hour work week.
**What you will do**
This includes:
- Leading the expansion of the NSW Health Deployment team in developing high-level advice on policy, planning and operational services
- Liaising with stakeholders and action requests to coordinate communication and proactively ensure responses meet deadlines
- Leading the unit in providing decision support deliverables and information on strategic matters of health services delivery and development
- Develop innovative ideas and strategies. Oversee the implementation and evaluation of administrative practices, systems and procedures within the team, to optimise efficiency and support the achievement of quality outcomes
